Why paint with fire on canvases until they burn?

Because the fire on the canvas perfectly represents the unpredictability and uncontrollability of life, despite the efforts we make every day to try to control our world.

Art is an expression of the unconscious.

Fire is a natural symbol of life and passion.

It can burn or heat, illuminate or destroy, consume or transform. It has no shape and is constantly changing.

It is the vital energy that we carry within us because, without the fire in the soul and without the wind that inflames it, we would be only bodies.

The streaks and holes left by the passage of fire on the canvas thus become signs not of destruction but of something special that has happened and that has produced energy.

The signs will always remain visible to our eyes to remind us that life, like smoke, flies away and that only believing in ourselves and in our abilities will save us.
